About Oscar:
In September of 1986 Oscar Elguea came to the United States from his native Chihuahua, Mexico in search of the “American Dream.” Motivated for success, he began working in the refinishing department at a furniture manufacturing company in Los Angeles, California. He learned how to finish furniture from the very basic to the most complicated, learning the secrets of the trade and moving his way up to ultimately becoming the head finisher in the company. Oscar’s attention to detail was not overlooked and soon had extra requests, working in his home garage late into the night. Ultimately, he became self-employed and opened Oscar’s Furniture Refinishing Inc., renting a small space on Adams Blvd. Paying close attention to detail was his focal point and striving to make sure his clients were always fully satisfied with his service. After nine years of quality service Oscar outgrew his location and in 2005 purchased a property on Jefferson Blvd. Oscar’s Furniture Refinishing Inc. clients consist of some of Los Angeles’ elite interior designers, as well as many of West Hollywood’s exclusive show rooms. Although Oscar’s “American Dream” became a reality he is well grounded and very happy for the opportunities given to him. As such, he regards each day as his first, treating his clients with professionalism and respect, providing excellent quality service.
